GLAMOUR CONTAINERS RETURN & EXCHANGE DETAILS

Delivery Requests for swaps or returns of containers and propane tanks must be made at the shipping address within 15days after receipt.

The same holds true for orders for depot pickup.

The stringent return policies that the ports and container depots apply make this regulation necessary.
The items must be in perfect condition, showing no indications of wear, use, alterations, or installations, and must be supplied as-delivered.
All original hardware, vents, and door seals with the unit identifying numbers (BIC codes) prominently displayed on all sides must be included with the item.
As soon as an item is inspected and gates at the depot or port, depot employees will either accept or reject it.
Accepted returns will get an email confirming their approval and a reimbursement within two business days.

Refunds from credit cards may take an extra two to ten days to post, depending on the credit card provider.
Items must only be returned to the depot or port of origin; they cannot be returned to depots or ports without prior authorization.

 

GLAMOUR CONTAINERS RESTOCKING FEES

Customers opting to return items are eligible for a store credit to be used toward to a future purchase.

No restocking fees are applied to store credits. Customers who opt for a refund of the item(s) will incur a 20% restocking fee, which covers administrative costs and order processing fees. 

GLAMOUR CONTAINERS ORDER CANCELLATIONS 

Customers who wish to cancel their order may do so within 24 hours of making payment, however a 10% restocking fee will still be applied.

This fee covers customer acquisition, administration and bank fees.

Order cancellation requests received later than 24 hours after payment will have the full 20% restocking fees applied, which covers the additional fees associated with container repositioning.

RETURN & EXCHANGE RETURN SHIPPING

Customers are responsible for return shipping. We recommend utilizing only our trusted third party logistics partners.

Purchasing insurance for your return shipment is highly recommended.

Return requests must be sent in writing via email through our contact page. Please quote your order number and state the reason for your request.

After receiving and approving your return we will issue a return authorization (RA) number which will include the depot / port information and location for your return.

Returned shipping containers are inspected by the depot / port staff after in-gating.

Explicit Shipping Containers will then process the refund of the returned order within two business days. 

UNDELIVERABLE ORDERS

Please take time to review our delivery guidelines prior to shipment of your container(s). Orders that are undeliverable will be assessed for all the applicable fees including restocking, cancellation, trucking, depot and bank fees.

We suggest taking measurements of the delivery site to ensure your shipping container(s) will fit. If you are unsure please send photos and videos to our support team for assessment prior to delivery. 

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Shipping Containers that have been shipped internationally after purchase are not eligible for returns, nor refunds.

Our shipping container warranty is covered internationally – please contact us for claims. 

SHIPPING ERRORS

Explicit Shipping Containers and our logistics partners do make errors from time to time. If the error is attributed to us we will cover the costs return and re-ship correctly. Please contact us ASAP when an error is noticed.

DEFECTS

Please inspect your item(s) on delivery and contact us ASAP if your shipping container(s) arrive damaged. Please take detailed pictures and videos (if possible) that include the defect / damage and the unit identification number (BIC Code), which is posted on all sides of the shipping container.

WARRANTY RETURNS

If your claim / return relates to a warranty claim please refer to our warranty page and contact us with the relevant information.

Please note manufacturer warranties do not cover defects determined to be caused by normal wear or due to customer negligence.
